Our best example of this wine to date.

A 50/50 mix of Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. This is our red which really typifies and expresses our high, cool elevation and the style of wine that we wish to compose from this piece of land. We take an equal portion of whole bunches, berries and their juice then ferment it all together as a big juicy brew, but not for too long. A year-round table red traveling gratuitously through the seasons.

As the vintages develop, we see more that the fruits of this wine become even more concentrated, its flavour and structure all tightly held together by its electric acidity and minerality gathered from the earth beneath. This brew is humming beautifully.

This 2023 vintage is under crown seal because we drank a 2018 Forest Red under crown seal a short time before we were to bottle this wine and it was youthful and vibrant.
